Generally, "casting" is the quickest way from liquid metal to an almost finished part. The choice of the casting process depends on aspects such as requirements on the mechanical properties of the casting part, volume or degree of complexity.
At Jura Guss two ways of casting processes are applied. The sand casting and chill casting process. Through the applicability of the core both processes have the advantage of great constructive freedom of scope. In contrary to the die casting process, also undercuts are possible.
The parameters, which fit together until a "good" part has been made, are very complex. Therefore it is very necessary to have professional support to find out the "right" process, to construct suitable tools and to choose an appropriate alloy.
We would very much like to support you!
